Happy Good Friday!
Easter Sunday is right around the corner, and I’m sure all of my British friends are rolling around in all the chocolate bunnies and eggs like I have been for the last week. One of the fun things about living in England is that Easter is actually a thing.
It’s not a very religious holiday to the majority of people anymore, but people get two days off work, gifts of chocolate and candies and embrace the spring weather with their families and friends. I was so surprised that my work gave everyone an Easter chocolate hamper. Hampers are these ‘baskets’ full of all sorts of goodies. We got one for Christmas too!
I had fun with this mini photo shoot. First of all, I found this amazing top at M&S. I am always on the prowl for a denim shirt of the right texture and color, and have yet to find one. This linen shirt caught my eye, thinking it was a jean button up. I got closer and found that actually; it was lovely blue linen. This fabric is perfect for the upcoming warmer (muggy) months. Denim might get too thick for when it’s hot and humid, but this top will be light and cool. I think I can also get away with not ironing it, but I’ll have to see after a few washes!
Also, how cute are these TOMS? I love polka dots, so these little cuties caught my eye at Shuh when I was looking for some spring shoes. TOMS are known for their comfort and simplicity. I absolutely love that ethos, especially since they donate a pair of shoes to a child in need for every pair we buy.

How do you plan on celebrating this long weekend, if you’re here in the UK? What are your favorite Easter traditions, if you celebrate?
