Monday Ramblings | 05.15.2023

Happy Monday! Thanks for once again joining me on another installment of Monday Ramblings, a weekly roundup where I catch you up on the last few days, ramble on a little, as well as share links to things I’m reading, listening to, and loving…

I’m a proud big sister this weekend. My youngest brother graduated from university on Saturday (Go CU!). I’m so happy for him because I know he worked so hard to get there, but it is also a little bittersweet because the baby of the family is no longer a baby anymore, and I feel really old (ha!). A fun fact to mention is that he is the third one of us to graduate from the University of Colorado (my middle brother and I both went to Boulder, and the youngest brother just graduated from Denver).

After watching him walk, the family went to Rio Grande restaurant downtown (they arguably have the best margaritas I’ve tried in Denver). After a really lovely lunch, we went our separate ways, and I had a relaxing evening in. Sunday was all about Mom. I made her a little DIY rose bouquet with a cool vase I found at Target, and we spent the evening at the parent’s house eating Pho take out. It was perfect!

Now on to some fun links…

The Baldwins are such a strange couple. I feel for Alec for having to live with accidentally killing someone, but the Rust tragedy keeps bringing them back into the spotlight, and I can’t help but think that they are very strange. In the past, Hilaria Baldwin even faked a Spanish accent

💄 Beauty

My favorite sunscreen, Supergoop!, is having a sale. Get 20% off using SPF20 until May 16th! I love their Unseen sunscreen (it’s clear and doesn’t leave a white cast).

Speaking of sunscreen… It sounds like spray-on sunscreen may not be the best idea

A trick on how to repair your nails when they break, rather than doing what I do, and just clipping them super short. Might just try this next time!

I am loving Elizabeth Olsen in Love & Death, an HBO series about a love affair gone wrong in 1980s Texas.

🛍️ Shopping

My favorite bra is on sale!

Love this cute maxi dress from Target (also on sale). It looks so flowy and perfect for the warmer weather.

📆 Things to do…

While I’m more of a coffee girl, I do occasionally crave tea. I want to check out Tea Street in Denver ASAP!

Although I’m not neurodivergent myself, I find myself doing this often to express my affection for friends… I love the cute name for it!

Entonces, ¿recomiendas Love&Death? He leído críticas dispares, pero podría verla cuando acabe Yellowstone, je, je.
